OVERVIEW
The WP-EXIT Series Wet Location LED Exit Sign is a weatherproof exit sign designed for use outdoors and in other applications where moisture is present, such as wash-down areas. The WP-EXIT Series features a UV stabilized, impact, moisture, and corrosion-resistant ABS plastic enclosure. This model can handle rain, sleet, and snow. The polycarbonate housing is fully gasket to seal out moisture. For locations that feature freezing temperatures, be sure to purchase the cold location package that comes with an internal battery heater which ensures operation in freezing environments.
The WP-EXIT Series is UL 924 Listed just like our other exit sign models and comes complete, ready to install. It features powerful green LEDs that provide efficient EXIT illumination, only consuming 5 watts of electricity. A reliable and efficient nickel-cadmium battery backup system provides a minimum of 90 minutes of emergency power to the unit in case of a power outage.
Quality is not sacrificed for a lower bottom line, all WP-EXIT Series wet location exit signs are fire and building code compliant. Operates using 120 or 277-volt electricity and comes with a push-button that allows for easy testing of the battery backup system.

APPLICATION
The WP-EXIT Series is designed for all applications where moisture is present. This model can be installed indoors or outdoors. The housing is sealed to prevent any element from entering the unit. For freezing temperature applications be sure to purchase the cold location package.
EXTERNAL SPECIFICATIONS
The entire unit is constructed from ABS plastic that is impact/corrosion resistant and UV stabilized. Housing is grey with green letters.
INTERNAL SPECIFICATIONS
Green LEDs provide illumination while consuming less than 5 watts of electricity at all times. The battery backup system features a nickel-cadmium battery pack.
ELECTRICAL SPECIFICATIONS
120/277v AC dual-voltage operation is standard. Other voltages are available upon requests such as 220v and 240v. AC lockout prevents battery pack discharge. Low voltage battery disconnect protects the battery pack from being damaged by long discharge periods.

8-10 year expected lifespan on all components except replaceable battery (five-year lifespan).

INSTALLATION
This wet location exit sign is suitable for surface (wall) installation. This model is suitable for indoor/outdoor and wet location installations on normally inflammable surfaces. Use two of three provided wires to connect the unit to AC power. Use the black(120v) and white(Common) wires for 120v AC connections and the red(277v) and white(Common) wires for 277v AC connections.
