Overview

Hazardous emergency lights are fully configurable units which can be outfitted for division 1 and division 2 conditions for any industrial location where flammable gas or vapors are present in the air at sufficent quantities to cause an explosion. Since internal electronics are known to spark, especially when compromised by fire or external concussion, the robust housing on HEL-C1 models are gasket-sealed to contain such sparking from interaction with explosive gases.

Such locations required to install hazardous lighting include natural gas refineries, spray finishing areas and large-scale dry cleaning facilities. Such hazardous locations are required to have

External Specifications

The HEL division 1 model has a copper-free cast aluminum shell while the division 2 design uses a fiberglass housing. Both are hermetically sealed to prevent explosive gases from leaking into the unit. All external hardware is corrosion-resistant stainless steel.

Lamp Specifications

Class 1 Div 1 Emergency Light: 12-volt 20-watt Halogen MR16 lamps are enclose in an explosion proof clear polycarbonate sheild.

Class 1 Div 2 Emergency Light: 6-volt 9-watt Halogen PAR stye lamps, top-mounted and fully directional.
