Maintenance Profile

OSHA regulations require monthly and yearly tests of the battery backup system. Emergency lamps can be replaced quickly and easily.

Components expected to last 8 to 10 years.

  • Self-testing: an optional self-diagnostic testing system alerts the user of functionality problems and eliminates the need for monthly and yearly testing.
  • Self-testing with alarm: self-diagnostic testing system can be paired with an alarm for audible warning of fixture failure.
  • Time delay: after AC power is restored, the fixture remains illuminated for 15 minutes so HID or gas vapor lighting is able to reach full illumination capability.
  • Remote capability: an additional 6-volt 4.5-amp battery can be added to provide power for up to two 6-volt 5.4-watt remote lamp heads.

Brownout protection and low-voltage disconnect combined with push button testing provide for long lifespan and reliability.

Durable housing, simple installation, and minimal maintenance.
