Our robust 12 volt 55 amp lead acid emergency light battery uses sealed lead acid (SLA) technology to hold an electrical charge. They can be fitted into many of the most popular emergency lighting fixtures we carry.
Our SLA emergency light batteries contain a heavier electrical load than most nickel cadmium cells, making them perfect for keeping your powerful halogen lamps at full luminosity for well over the required 90-minute runtime.
But is a 55 amp emergency light battery right for your fixture? Contact us today and find out. If you require a quicker response, call us toll-free, 24/7 at 800-607-5355.
The ELB-SLA-1255 is the perfect replacement battery for emergency lighting or exit sign combo fixtures which take a 12v 55Ah charge. They fit snugly inside of the emergency fixture's housing and wire into the lights and circuit board via F1 terminals at the top of the battery.
The fire-resistant black thermoplastic housing locks in the lead acid gel and are almost impossible to rupture, even under extreme duress. The ELB-SLA-1255 looks like a car battery and works on the same principles, however, they are much smaller and lighter to carry.
Lead acid gel is tightly compressed in the emergency light battery's plastic housing. They have almost no possibility of leaking unless physically damaged.
