Overview
When you need to install emergency lighting in an environment that receives considerable abuse from vandalism, choose our vandal proof remote head. They easily connect to an external emergency power source such as a battery, generator or a remote-capable emergency light that has a battery backup.
They are great if you have a jog - any area that does not have enough lighting - along your emergency egress path. They are far less costly than buying self-contained vandal proof luminaries and can fit into much tighter spaces.
Vandal proof remote heads require far less maintenance than emergency lights and will last just as long. Using them in conjuction with other lighting units is an efficient way to supplement illumination in case a nearby head goes out during a power outage.

Application
The best thing about this remote head is it can be used in almost any location. Install them within interior wash down areas or outdoors in direct exposure to inclement weather, rain and snow.
The FP-RH has a universal mounting plate suitable for attaching to a ceiling or wall surface. These are a favorite money saving lighting solution in schools, correctional facilities, government buildings, exterior walkways or any area that gets a lot of foot traffic on a daily basis.
External Specifications
The vandal proof remote head has an 18-guage cold rolled steel mounting base that is powder coated to prevent corrosion. (2) torx screws secure the 2.5 mm thick clear polycarbonate face shield to the base. They are nearly impossible to remove without the special tool provided.
Internal Specifications
Within the shatter-proof polycarbonate lens are two semi-directional MR 16 or LED lamps, and a vacuum metalized reflector for superior illumination. Remote Head comes standard with a (2) two 20W lamps. Please call for other wattage options. A rubber o-ring gasket is tucked into a groove between the lens and housing, preventing any water or moisture from entering the electronics.
