Overview
The Extreme Emergency Light is designed to withstand harsh environments and remain functional in wet locations that feature rain, snow, sleet, dust, and many other treacherous elements. This fixture is NEMA 4x is fully waterproof and rated for outdoor locations. For environments with extremely low temperatures, a Cold Weather (CW) package option is available to heat internal components and make sure the fixture remains functional in temperatures as low as -40º F. The Extreme Emergency Light comes standard with 6, 12, or 20 watt halogen MR16 lamp heads and can be customized with 4 watt LED MR16 lamps for a more energy efficient option.
The Extreme Emergency Light comes with a 6 volt 18 watt lead calcium battery that provides 90 minutes of emergency light, but is customizable with a variety of battery options that can extend emergency run time.
Battery options include:
- 12 volt 24, 36, or 54 watt lead calcium battery
- 12 volt 24 watt and 12 volt 40 watt nickel-cadmium (Ni-Cd) battery
- 12 volt 60 watt nickel-metal hydride (Ni-MH) battery for 180 minutes of emergency light

Application
The NEMA 4X Industrial Emergency Light is designed to withstand the elements to provide reliable emergency lighting for at least 90 minutes. Common uses for this rugged fixture include warehouses, manufacturing plants, and other commercial environments that require a heavy duty lighting solution.
External
This rugged wet location emergency light uses a fully gasketed aluminum back plate and tamper-proof screws to ensure the Extreme Emergency Light remains functional even when exposed to extremely harsh elements. The UV resistant polycarbonate shield ensure even and clear light distribution.
Internal
A 120v or 277v AC electrical connection is used to power the fixture while simultaneously charging the battery. Custom voltages are available to suit your specific needs. The solid state circuitry features AC lockout, brownout protection, and low voltage disconnect are standard safety features.
Lamp Specifications
The Extreme Emergency Light comes standard with 6 volt 6 watt halogen MR16 lamps that produce powerful illumination, while remaining energy efficient. Lamps can also be customized for 12V 12W or 12V 20W MR16 lamps.
The 20W MR16 lamp uses an infrared reflective coating that makes the filament more efficient, producing more lumens per watt.
This fixture can also be outfitted with a 4 watt LED MR16 light that produces 50 lumens per watt, meaning the total light output is 200 lumens. If paired with the 12V 60W nickel-metal hydride battery, the Extreme Emergency Light will provide over 7.5 hours of emergency illumination.
Battery
The Extreme Emergency Light comes standard with a 6 volt 18 watt lead calcium battery that will provide 90 minutes of emergency illumination. By pairing a higher capacity battery with lower wattage lamps, it is possible to extend emergency run time.
Battery options include:

- 12 volt 24 watt and 12 volt 40 watt nickel-cadmium (Ni-Cd) batteries are lightweight and long lasting

The Extreme Emergency Light is one of the most durable fixtures we sell. Because it is extremely light and durable, this fixture is perfect for many lighting applications. It is not, however, rated for Class 1 Division 1 or 2 hazardous locations
