Overview
Our maintenance-free 1.2 volt, 700mAH nickel cadmium exit sign battery will fit into any LED exit sign that is not fitted with emergency lighting heads. They are extremely lightweight which reduces their shipping costs.
Compared with sealed lead acid and other batteries, sealed nickel cadmium, or NiCd, has a superior life cycle, more capacity for their compact size, perform at low temperatures and are the best battery cell at high discharge rates (when the battery is drained completely in less than one hour).

Application
Unlike sealed lead acid batteries which have to be hardwired, nickel cadmium exit sign batteries are as easy as putting batteries in a flashlight. All exit signs will have 3 lead wires inside the housing, 2 of which snap right into the SEB-NCD-120.
External Specifications
The SEB-NCD-120 is shrink wrapped in a white plastic seal. Underneath the seal is the battery's metal casing that is guaranteed never to rupture due to extreme heat or cold. It resembles a common AA household battery.
Internal Specification
Within the outer metal casing are the negative and positive electrodes tightly rolled inside the cell.
